It is often said that homework should be made mandatory for every student. In my opinion, however, I believe that doing exercises after school is not helpful for young learners.

It is said that social issues have no relationship with our lives, therefore it is unnecessary to read news from newspapers and TV. However, I entirely oppose this statement based on getting in touch with current issues, as well as, improving our critical thinking skills.

Nowadays, the crowd can easily browse information online. In modern days, Global information is one click away and journalism coverage is focused on international news as globalization is making the world more connected. I agree the focus of the coverage must be international, although, the local news shouldn't be neglected and is still just as important.

Many people advocate that the truth should not be said all the time. Telling lies instead of reality is better on particular occasions. I would rather tell somebody the truth than lie so I disagree with the statement.

In the coming times, without any charge, human beings will be in a position to devour the whole (kit and) caboodle they desire on the internet due to which no one will buy a physical newspaper or printed books. Although this essay agrees that, in the times ahead printed media will not be in demand at all, yet, disagrees that this will be a result of the free availability of reading material. Firstly, this will discuss the subscription-based revenue model and, then how published material is available with a single click online, followed by a conclusion.

People have different opinions over deciding the pivotal factor for academic success. Although there are good arguments in favour of a student's attitude as a deciding factor, I would argue that a proficient teacher plays a crucial role in this because a good tutor can create an environment conducive to learning and assist every student based on their cognitive ability.

It is no doubt that works play a critical role in the development of the economy of human beings. Furthermore, they also serve as the necessary approaches for humankind to sustain their daily needs. Some people harbour a belief that certain jobs are more specific for one gender owing to the innate and different body. Most developed nations are beset by similar health issues in relation to nutrition. Indeed, the majority of people in those countries consume an excessive amount of junk food on a regular basis causing malnutrition and obesity. There is a common assertion that a tax on its consumption would alleviate the problem. In my opinion, this suggestion alone would partially deter eaters from unhealthy snacks and not necessarily touch on the root cause.

It is said that adolescents are having more troubles in their life compared to the past, due to the lack of parents caring. I entirely concur with this statement based on forming bad habits and worsening mental conditions.

Some people think that "vertical City" is the best, where people live and work in tall buildings. Others think that "horizontal" City is better, where there are few tall buildings. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Although “a vertical city” which focuses on accommodating a large population and providing different functions in the same tall building is preferred by some, other people consider “a horizontal city” with fewer buildings and lower physical densities to be more desirable. While grand towers in urban areas grant the ordinary with convenient access to everything, I think that living on a larger piece of land with more open spaces allows us to live closer to nature and provide more protection against severe damages caused by natural hazards.

Increasingly, certain societies have been struggling to boost their economic development, and as consequence, many people have been interested to live there, however, some social values are lost as a result. In fact, many people see the advantages, while, others only think about the disadvantages. In my opinion, the economy could bring up important opportunities and disadvantages such as social values may be overcome.
