The crime rate nowadays is decreasing compared to the past due to advances in technology which can prevent and solve crime. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Crime is regarded as the modern days’ cancer. The technological improvements are assisting the authorities to tackle the criminal problems, hence many believe that those lead to the decline of illegal acts. Committing unlawful behaviour now, however, has become easier through advanced technology from my perspective.

Governments should spend money on railways rather than roads. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Some people believe that a government should invest more in the rail system and build more railroads rather than diverting funds to improving highways and road transportation systems. To a certain point, I would agree with the statement, but I also believe that the decision of building railways or roads should be made based on the natural conditions of the area and the preference of citizens.

In some counties, when someone gets old, they often go to live in a home with other older people where there are nurses to look after them. Sometimes the government has to pay for this care. Who do you think should pay for this care, the government or the family?

In some countries, authorities allocate funds to nursing homes, where elderly people are receiving care and medical attention. In other countries, these services are paid for by family members. In my perspective, these centres should be funded by the government, because rates for these services frequently are high.

Too much money is spent repairing old buildings. It would be better if this money was used to knock down old building and construct new ones. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In recent years, building reconstructions are widespread in old urban areas. There are multiple reasons for these renewals including enhancement in cities appearance, strengthening outmoded buildings and improvement in the efficiency of residents. Whereas, some people consider these activities impractical and therefore they believe that it is better to demolish buildings completely and re-build new ones. I personally disagree with them and in the following I will explain it.

Some public supposed that advanced technology would change our daily life. They believe that it could be more complex than before without using technology products, while others do not agree with this point of view. I completely disagree with this point of view that I opined that technology would bring more convenience and efficiency in our life.

Some populations believe that politicians have the enormous influence and power of affecting the world. However, others consider that scientists own more influence by doing research and inventing new objects. In my personal experience, I would say the leaders are more influential. Furthermore, I would discuss both sides' perspectives in the following paragraphs.

Nowadays, there are various subjects in school for students to prepare for higher education and improve their life skills. Therefore, many people say that the chemistry of food and the method of preparing a meal should be taught in school. However, there are many people who disagree with the first opinion. It is often argued that helping people all over the world seems infeasible; therefore, the government should meet their own individual’s needs. I agree that the governments ought to focus on citizens in their countries first, before looking to help other countries, which will describe in the next paragraph in this essay.

In recent days student exchange programs are well practised all around the world. Some teachers believe that it is advantageous for all adolescent school students, while others see drawbacks in this trend. In my opinion, getting close to a new culture and forming self-independency overweights its drawbacks.

Day by day, various languages are disappearing. Some people believe that this is not a significant issue because the lesser the languages, the better it is for the whole world. I completely agree with this statement as it will not be so challenging for people to communicate with each other throughout the world and international education will also become less difficult.

There are tremendously controversial perspectives heating a debate over how to get high accomplishments. While some hold a strong view that getting access to Colleges is the sole method, the opposite makes a statement that there are alternative determinants. While each has its own redeeming features, I would contend that it is optimal to combine both mentioned statements.

Environmental issues have been increasingly becoming significant these days. Due to humankind detrimental activities, we witness many deterioration trends in plants and animal species. While it is suggested by some people that it is extremely too late to take any measure in favour of the environment, I agree with those who believe that it is worth the effort to preserve it.

It is considered that spending money on public services is the most important while expenditure on arts is a waste of money. There is a controversial idea heating a debate whether the existence and improvement of high-tech gadgets have made humankind’s life more sophisticated. Therefore, a life without any of them will be way better. While this thinking is valid to some extent, I would consider myself an opponent of this statement.
