Transportation plays a crucial role in the development of places regardless of urban and rural areas. However, the governmental authorities tend to give more preference to cities over the countryside in transit budgets, which leads to several serious impacts such as accidents and lack of individual growth in villages. This issue can be tackled by allocating proper financial resources as well as appropriate planning.

At the beginning of 2023, the World Population Review released its 2022 Quality of Life index which ranked over 10,000 cities according to a set of criteria.
