The chart compares the major exports of Southland in 2000,20 and estimates these figures for 2025. As we can see from the left section, the liquidity coming from international tourism has increased from about eight billion euros in 2000, to nearly nine billion. Another one-billion rise is forecasted for the year 2025 in international tourism. The dairy products’ exportations have soared from nearly under seven billion euros in 2000, to approximately 10 billion currently. However, it is forecasted that these figures will experience a drop with an extent of half a billion euros in 2025. Eventually, meat products projections have already shown a decrease from six billion to about five and a half billion euros in 2000 and 2020, respectively. The meat products’ exports are also expected to further experience a drop to a figure of five billion euros in 2025.
