It is assumed that company's manager should decide for the issues lonely, although others believe that staff should be involved. I will discuss about two sides in further paragraphs.

My viewpoint would be that both sides has a part to play in how persons decide to spend. For the first viewpoint where it suggests that advertising encourages useless spending can be true to some extent. Some advertising agencies make the products very appealing by exaggerating its usefulness and as well as the price. Therefore persons are always in a rush to purchase the item either because they think that they need it or the price is too appealing to let go.
