Illiteracy remains a problem in many countries around the world. There are two leading causes and two critical impacts for the case of Mongolia, which I will outline now. The leading cause is the need for more infrastructure which means school buildings, roads, and even transportation are not provided in rural areas, especially in developing countries; however, big cities have those these years. For example, in Mongolia, some soums (the most minor administrative and territorial units for rural areas) have only elementary schools, and it locates at least 30 km away from the living places of herders. It will take around three hours to come to the school by horse. The second cause is still a belief that boys can typically live without education than girls. Therefore, herder families keep the boys with them to feed livestock. Society is divided to the part which thinks, that we are able to do more to fight crime, but the other part says that there is not much to be done. Nowadays, criminality is rising again and, in many situations, there is nothing that can be done to prevent violence; however, I believe we have an opportunity to help in some of them.

A rule is proposed in some states of America that makes a limitation on time which teenagers can spend out of home at nights. The key reason is protecting physically and physiologically young people from risks and threats in outdoors at late nights such as addiction and street fighting. In my opinion, teenage period is a critical step and teenagers are affected easily by other people. Therefore the curfew should be operated to prevent teenage girls and boys to spend outdoors in late hours.

In order to study at university students are required to pay expensive tuition fees. Not all students can afford them so some people think that university education should be free for everyone. To what extent do you agree?

Fees for higher education are expensive and not affordable for everyone so according to some university should be free for all people, regardless of their background. In my opinion, offering everyone free university education would be problematic and, therefore, should only be offered to certain individuals. Having free university education for everyone would put a tremendous financial strain on a country. Universities would have no income from fees and, consequently, they would rely completely on the state for funding. Doing this means taking funds from other much needed areas, such as the health system, in order to allocate money to universities. For the majority of countries, particularly developing and underdeveloped countries, this would not be a financially viable option.
