Some education systems make students focus on certain subjects at the age of 15, while others require students to study a wide range of subjects until they leave school. What are the benefits of each system? Which is better?

There are controversial perspectives heating a debate over the benefits of different educational approaches. While some hold a strong view that students should focus on a limited number of subjects from the age of 15, the opposite makes a statement that they should spread the focus on my subjects across the board. While the former is valid to some extent, I consider myself an advocate of the latter.

In many cases, the people being monitored are unaware that this is happening. Do you think the advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages?

In recent times advanced hardware is being used increasingly often to observe humans' behaviour. Most of the times, they are clueless that this is happening. While this technology has numerous advantages, it has just as many disadvantages. This essay will focus on advantages and disadvantages of human observation, and I will provide my own opinion on the matter at the end. On the one hand, surveillance can help make the world a better place. Firstly, it can reduce the number of committed crimes. Using security cameras, the police can determine the rulebreaker and give them a deserving punishment. For instance, the credit system in China is reliant on security cameras and AI. Whenever a person commits a crime, the AI detects them, compares their face with everyone registered in the database, and punishes them with a decrease in credit score. These days, employers' organization are more likely to give those who are in their high position in company decent wages far higher than regular workers, as it is an optimal method to attract the best management talent. In my opinion, I firmly agree with this statement.

Nowadays, one of the main problems is an increase in the population of elderly population. At the present time, the statistics of the population of some countries include a relatively large number of young adults in comparison with the number of older people. I think that getting statistical information that includes being aware of the counts of young and elderly people will help to adjust the balance of their counts in the future.

Using a computer everyday can have a negative influence on young children. Do you agree or disagree?

On the other hand, the positive benefits of using a computer are generally recognized and seem to outweigh those disadvantages. In this technological era, the biggest advantage we can easily see is that computers provide children with learning tools as well as entertainment. They are taught and encouraged to gain more information using cartoon web pages. Children and teenagers, however, can connect with their friends through online communication software so that children now can learn and communicate from far distances. Besides, children can be easily attracted by the activities in educational computer programs, allowing them to learn well in a fun environment. For all of these amazing benefits, we do believe that children should be allowed to get to know about technology in the early ages which will help them to grow independently in this fast-paced generation. In a related study, the e-Learning Foundation showed that children with Internet access at home get higher grades.

Many people believe that the best response to high levels of violent crime is to increase the length of prison sentences. On this side, people think if prisoners get a longer prison sentence, they would have more time to look back in the prison and tend to regret what they have done and come to make up for their new term of life. Indeed, prison sentence is not pleasant at all. Most people want to avoid it, therefore, the longer the sentence becomes, the less people commit a crime. On the other hand, people believe that long prison sentences do nothing to prevent crime. Of course there are some people who don’t think long sentences don’t change their way of thinking and their attitude towards crime. These prisoners could be a psycho and they are not human hearted in the first place; that’s why they committed a crime.
