Compassion and a holistic approach to medicine remain quintessential for patient care. During my internal medicine residency, I learned from my patients. Every patient serves as a case of learning. I presented case discussions to my team which taught me to communicate information efficiently. While rotating in cardiology these lessons and the satisfaction of managing highly complex cases with a dedicated team consolidated my interest in cardiology. In my cardiology fellowship at The Indus Hospital Health Networks, I have worked in managing patients with acute ischemia, including ST elevation MI, patients with heart failure, valvular heart disease, and arrhythmia. Especially in the era of covid, I have been engaged in treating patients with COVID and cardiac complications.
