There is a lot of pressure on young people today to succeed academically. As a result, some people believe that non-academic subjects, such as physical education and cookery, should be removed from the school syllabus so that children can concentrate on academic work. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

In this competitive world where academic achievement is a measure of success young people put a lot of stress on their studies. Some suggest that changes should be made to the school curriculum and subjects like physical education and cookery should be taken off so that students can concentrate on subjects like science and maths. I oppose this suggestion for a number of reasons which will be discussed below.

We are becoming increasingly dependent on computer- based on technology. How do you think it will change in the future? Is it good for us to rely so much on computers?

Nowadays, we are depending on technology day by day noticeably due to the wide range of facilities has given us. In my point of view, computers can be able to change the world beneficially although they have some downsides. In this essay, I will argue my own view.

Some say that if people let children decide their everyday matters, in the future they will only think about themselves, while others would argue that children should make their own choices. This essay would argue that although people might be more selfish if individuals make their own choices, they will be more independent and will enjoy their lives.

In today's era, working women are increasing more and more in order to help their husbands with life expenses. Recently, most sectors nowadays offer to deliver mothers a maternity leave which lasts up to a year. In this essay, I am going to shed some light on the advantages and disadvantages of giving maternity leave for a year.

University students may come from various backgrounds and different countries, especially if the university itself is quite popular with international students. One of the important points for the students before starting the semester is choosing suitable accommodation. The Majority of students prefer to live in the dormitory as it is usually quite affordable and nearby the campus. However, I believe leasing an apartment is more preferable since it is not restricted by dorm rules and gives easier access to facilities and activities in the community.

There is a dilemma should the government give financial help to artists, such as musicians, writers or painters. Is it profitable or is it just a waste of money? In my opinion, investments in art activities could be economically beneficial.

Nowadays, air pollution has become a great concern as it is increasing global warming . A few masses suggest that a care-free day should be kept on a global level to decrease air damage, while others believe that there are some better alternative measures available to tackle this issue. In this essay, I will discuss both views in detail and provide supporting examples to prove the latter statement takes precedence.

Whilst the advantages of jogging on a daily basis are extensively known by many, nevertheless the number of people who uphold walking is decreasing due to the shrinkage of trails in cities and the effects of digitalization. It is my firm belief that by encouraging city executive powers to establish more recreational areas for people to jog as well as educating people about the health benefits of walking outside.
