Recently some individuals think that financial expansion is the single way to diminish poverty ,while on the other,it is jeopardizing the environment owing to the fact it should be stopped .This essay will try to analyze both sides and then I will give my perspective on this issue before deducing a conclusion.

Actually, more and more people discuss the true function of the university. According to my four years university life and more than 10 years of work experience, I should say that functions of the university should not only contain imparting knowledge and skills for the future, also include fostering the students abilities to be independent, thus, to get access to knowledge for its own sake.

A section of people holds a belief that the effective method to lessen the crime is to provide theeducation to the folks in prison, hence, it will be ultilitarian for them to get a job later. I completely agree that it is better that prisoners receive the education rather than letting them unemployed once they are out of prison.

The media pay too much attention to the lives and relationships of celebrities such as actors, singers or footballers. They should spend more time reporting the lives of ordinary people instead. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Advancement in technology has made it easier for people to get access to all sorts of information. However, there is a statement saying that the press is too attentive to the personal lives of superstars, while they should allocate more time for giving details of ordinary people’s lives. In my opinion, I partly agree with this idea.
