There are 3 main reasons why children in this generation tend to spend a large amount of time in front of gadgets. One, technology has advanced a lot over the past years, therefore it is without a doubt that technology has taken over our lives. We can't fully say that technology is not beneficial, as there are so many advancements in many sectors all because of technology and AI. Second, most parents tend to have the same bad habits - spending large amounts of time in front of screens - therefore children tend to follow them as parents are their biggest impact. Third, most of the learning done in school is uploaded through online platforms. I think this was first done, during the COVID-19 Pandemic, and ever since that event, everything has shifted online.

Nowadays, when our society is in the stage of rapid transformation , a tendency to pass important exams on computers can be observed. It is agreed, that children these days are better qualified in gadgets and this way of the examination can help them to cope with stress ,however , some risks exist because of the possibility of cheating. This essay, firstly, will discuss what positive sides this issue has, followed by an analysis of drawbacks ,before coming to a reasoned conclusion.

In today's world, the internet plays a significant role in knowledge acquisition and gathering data. While it helps the students learn the tuitions better, I believe that using the internet for educational purposes can have both its benefits and downfalls. Reliance on the internet for every assignment has negative effects on students understanding of the lessons, specially at the early stages of learning. Nevertheless, its usefulness in pupils research is undeniable.

My name is Arman Effendi. I come from Indonesia with a background as bachelor of science in Applied Meteorology with a specialization in climate and earth. I have interest in this field since high school because at that time I always learned new things related to climate change and earth conditions from the internet and social media. This curiosity led me to take further studies to the undergraduate level at the Applied Meteorology Department, IPB University. Graduating from IPB University with "honors" did not make me stop to find out more about this science so I felt that I still had many shortcomings.
