Do you think the disadvantages of this change outweigh its advantages?

Nowadays in some countries, small-scale shops in the centre of cities due to the lack of clients are going to be closed. While I understand the advantages of this trend, I believe that the disadvantages of this issue outweigh its progress.

It is true that almost of artists should receive subsidies from the government to support them to continue with their work because they earn low salaries. From where I stand, I definitely agree with this kind of policy which is vital for artists and musicians.

The rise of large out-of-town stores in some countries has led to the decline of small town-centre shops. It is a thought-provoking issue these days. Some argue that large out-of-town stores offer certain advantages like diverse product ranges and competitive pricing ,while others insist that limited access for non-car owners. From my perspective I am concerned,although I would like to support the demerits, I will discuss both views in my essay.
