While some argue that it instils a sense of civic duty and fosters social cohesion, others believe it may place undue pressure on students already balancing numerous academic and extracurricular commitments. I firmly believe that incorporating compulsory unpaid community service into high school programmes is highly beneficial for students and society alike.
