In many nations around the world, locals from rural areas are moving to urban areas, therefore, the number of inhabitants in the countryside is going down. From my point of view, I partly agree with this statement for some reasons mentioned in this essay.

This essay believes that the advantages outweigh the disadvantages. First of all, looking into the positive aspects, when a country is allowed to import food, the local market becomes more competitive, therefore, local producers need to drop the prices making it cheaper for consumers. Another advantage is that customers have more options available to buy, therefore, they can choose the type of food they want to consume as their style. On the other side of view, the drawbacks, local producers could transit cost issues as sometimes imported food is cheaper than actually the local costs, reducing the incentives to produce locally.

Nowadays, unhealthy patients tend to prefer finding alternative medicines and treatments instead of visiting a usual doctor. I think the development of selecting alternative medicines or treatments before visiting a doctor is a negative development because alternative medicines and treatments may not be certified or tested properly which might be harmful to patients. On the other hand, mainstream healthcare, which does not harm you has been certified and tested for over a century.
