It's been a contention of what should we teach to our school grader children whether to do vegetable gardening or engage in animal care. I would argue that both are essential for the growth and development of our growing children since doing gardening can develop basic skills while keeping animals hone a child's emotional quotient.

There are different perspectives regarding how to efficiently lower crime rates, while some are in favour of extending jail time to either keep criminals away from the public or deter people from breaking the law. I tend to agree with the others who propose other methods to achieve the same goal, including providing vocational training in jail to equip them with competent capacities, since it could help them to build a stable life by the time they complete the services in jail.
