In the present world, the obsession with something that people really want to take is quite easy due to the internet. Hence, the public is used to making a purchase of goods online and they are willing to pay for something they can not afford to buy with debt. This happening is pretty common nowadays and it leads folks to bankrupt without any notice. I will explain what are the reasons for this behaviour and what action can be taken to prevent the public from having this problem below.

One of the social concerns today relates to communication. While it is widely believed that using the internet to interact with people is the best way to talk, others believe communicating face-to-face has more benefits than the previous one. In my opinion, I still prefer talking through the Internet due to the different profits of it.

In recent years, many small local shops have closed because consumers travel to large shopping centres or malls to do their shopping. Is this a positive or a negative development?

In recent years, the growth of large shopping malls is uncontrollable. In Jakarta itself, there are approximately 150 plazas and even there are 10 plazas in only one district. That is a big number of large shopping plazas. But why has department store development become uncontrollable? One of the reasons is the high demand for department stores itself. People come to plazas for recreation, especially in Jakarta. Shopping malls in Jakarta offer many things, for, example luxury boutiques, amusement stores, restaurants, parks, events, etc. This phenomenon has caused many small local shops have closed.

Every year, the number of severe crimes is increasing. Some have the opinion that capital punishment is the best solution for this phenomenon, while others opine that other methods should be used. Although removing criminals off the street can reduce the crime rate, I believe sending them to rehabilitation centres, and providing employment can be the best possible solution.
