Nowadays, people in suburban areas are migrating to big cities, therefore the number of people in those places is falling-off. In my view, the drawbacks of this phenomenon are more significant and I will outline several reasons for this in more detail below.
Nowadays, the increased population has become a fact; consequently, some citizens believe that governments should focus on enhancing public services rather than others meanwhile, other people argue that they should spend more on infrastructure. This essay will examine both sides and argue in favour of the former.
It is believed that the mass media like television, published broadcasts and radio have an effect on both society and people's characteristics. I completely agree with this statement that the media have several impacts on individuals' ideas.
In contemporary society, there is no question that being invariably exposed to violent scenarios brings detrimental consequences to the communities. While some guardians believe that it is important to allow children to watch whatever preferred materials, others argue that exposure to deviant materials jeopardizes children's characteristics. I completely agree that watching violent mediums impinges on youngsters negatively and parents should divert their attention towards beneficial materials.
A recent survey says that most teenagers nowadays prefer to connect and socialise with one another through online platforms rather than meeting up in person. Because as the technology advances the efforts to connect with each other decreases.
Many argue that the government should look after elderly people and provide them with pensions after they are 60 years old. However, others say that people themselves should save money for later use. I agree with the former viewpoint because savings would not be enough to support people, and residents pay taxes to the government all their lives.
Social media such as Facebook is believed to have a harmful effect on people and in turn, on the community as a whole. In my opinion, social media can portray a perfect life and spread a lot of false information which can affect individuals and society in a negative way.
According to some individuals, getting married prior to graduation and obtaining an established career is not the wisest thing to do. I agree with this notion because this could be financially challenging due to the expenses that come with marriage, also unplanned pregnancy could potentially defer their future goals. This essay will discuss further why I support this side and provide a concluding view.
According to some people, If an individual decides to live in a country for a long period of time, learning their culture and language is important. I completely agree with this notion because this will help the individual find a sense of belongingness in that country as well as seeking a job would be easier for them. Nowadays, education plays an important role in human lives. The government requires youngsters should stay in school until the age of eighteen. However, I firmly believe that school attendance is compulsory for children up to 18 years old for two reasons.
Exhibiting bravery in one's work and private life is beneficial. High remuneration and promotion at work are rewards for risk-takers and a lack of audacity to do uncomfortable things can lead to a lack of recognition and feelings of unfulfillment. Whilst acknowledging that there are drawbacks to this, this essay argues that the pros outweigh the cons.
Physical activities like sports improve well-being. Few people argue that by raising the number of sports facilities the health of the public will get improved, while others say that it may have an impact on the citizen's well-being and other factors should be considered. This essay will discuss both views and I will give my opinion at the end of the essay.
While the economy is developing worldwide, more and more people from rural areas are migrating to the cities. By contrast, the crowds in the countryside are fewer than before. In this essay, I would argue that the positive effects of this phenomenon outweigh the negative. People in cities have more job opportunities that benefit their career life. Additionally, due to the development of the agricultural industry, producing the same yield of crops needs less workforce than previously.
