Some people think certain prisoners should be made to do unpaid community work instead of being put behind the bar. To what extent do you agree?

There is no doubt that crimes can be committed in different circumstances and have different social consequences. So the logical question arises. Should all lawlessness be punishable by imprisonment? My opinion is that the answer is no and I will try to briefly explain my point of view.

Under British and Australian laws a jury in a criminal case has no access to information about the defendant's past criminal record. This protects the person who is being accused of the crime. Some lawyers have suggested that this practice should be changed and that a jury should be given all the past facts before they reach their decision about the case. Do you agree or disagree?

It is distinctively stated in any countries law, how a defendant’s previous wrongdoings can affect them in a trial. Some countries, such as the United Kingdom and Australia help offenders shadow their unlawful past from the jury when giving their final verdict. In my opinion, this is an unbiased method and should be changed. Therefore I agree with the lawyer’s suggestion to amend this point so that the jury can give a balanced verdict.

Ensuring that children have regular physical exercise should be the responsibility of parents and therefore schools should not waste valuable school time having sports lessons as part of the curriculum. To what extent do you agree

Sports and exercise have always been an integral part of a child's future. Some people think parents should uphold the duty of ensuring regular exercise in a child's daily schedule while others opine that it should be the school's obligation to inculcate sports lessons during school time. I agree that it is the sole responsibility of the school and will provide my support for the latter view.

Many employers are employing people with good social skills as well as good qualifications. Do you agree or disagree that good social skills is as important as good qualifications to succeed in job?

Nowadays, employees having good social skills and qualifications can be more easily employed; however, it is difficult to make a decision whether good social skills are as essential as good qualifications. In my view, I strongly agree that both of them should be equally considered for recruiting a new employee because they reflect the compatibility and the working efficiency between a new employee and an early employee

Many believe that the best way to ensure a happier society is to reduce the difference in income earnings between the rich and poor. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is true that wealth inequality among the population remains a serious phenomenon ,especially in developing countries because it leads to several adverse social problems . While some people argue that reducing this gap can help to ensure a comfortable living in societies, I fully disagree with this view and believe that it is not an effective quick fix .

In many countries ,children are becoming overweight and unhealthy.some people think that the government should have the responsibility. To what extent do u agree or disagree

Child obesity has become a noticeable trend in recent years. It is increasingly common for children living in developing countries and advanced economies alike to be overweight or obese. Nutritionists cite consumption of junk food and a dramatic increase in sugar intake as major driving forces of this phenomenon. In my opinion, convenient access to junk food, coupled with excessive marketing of unhealthy snacks to children has been a worrying trend that governments have failed to curtail, and they should have more responsibility in addressing this issue.

People have different views about who can be the decision-makers in the company . Some individuals argue that this responsibility should take by only the executive , while others claim that involving workers at this level can be a good idea . In my opinion , I think that it would be beneficial for the organisation to implicate employees in some decisions.

Most high-level positions in companies are filled by men even though the workforce in many developed countries is more than 50 percent female. Companies should be required to allocate a certain percentage of these positions to women. Do you agree?

There is a controversial perspective heating a debate over the top position in organizations should be allocated more for women. While this statement is valid to some extent, I partially agree with this idea.

Some people believe that there should be fixed punishments for each type of crime.others, however,argue that the circumstances of an individual crime,and the motivation for committing it, should always be taken into account when deciding on the punishment.Discuss both views and give your opinion.

There are different arguments with regard to having a fixed or flexible punishment for offenders. I agree with those who think that the situation of a criminal should be taken into account before imposing them a right verdict .

Some people say that now we can see films on our phones or tablets there is no need to go to the cinema. Others say that to be fully enjoyed, films need to be seen in a cinema. Discuss both these views and give your own opinion.

We are living in a world where we can watch movies on our fingers tip on smart gadgets at home. One group of people believe that no need to go to the cinema theatre. Whereas others beg to differ and opine that movies can be enjoyed at the cinema only. In my opinion, the real enjoyment of the movie can be experienced at multiplex only.

Recent digital technology allows not only professional filmmakers, but also amateurs in the field to produce films with less effort. In my point of view, this is a beneficial progression for the film industry. In the following paragraphs, the reasons why I take this standpoint will be stated in detail.

Due to development and rapid expansion supermarkets in some countries, many small, local businesses are unable to compete. some people think that the closure of local business will bring about the death of local communities. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Globalisation has brought about an immense change in markets. Major hypermarkets and supermarket chains are now appearing in many major cities, which rival much smaller local businesses, thereby resulting in the closing of many small businesses. It is argued that this will bring about the death of local communities, to which I agree and will substantiate my reasoning in the course of this essay.

At present days, some people reckon that their governments should spend money on maintaining the minority languages; however, some claim that doing this is not a proper way to efficiently use resources. In my view, I believe that it is not necessary to protect these languages.

Others think that kids will learn more from attending mixed schools. This essay will discuss both views and personal opinions will be given.

Countries indeed do benefit from the high salaries of a select few individuals. However, there are calls for this to be revised so that all citizens get a fair salary irrespective of the job and title that they hold. In this essay, we shall discuss both sides of this coin.

Members of a community should have values like integrity, honesty, compassion, helpfulness, economically productiveness, creativity and the desire to work for the progress of humanity in general. In the current scenario, a few believe that parents are responsible for inculcating children with these qualities, whereas others believe that schools should teach them these principles. In this essay, I will explain these views and conclude with my own viewpoint.

However, the countries which know as famous tourist destinations, are prone to have detrimental natural effects and could disturb the local community. In my perspective, I believe the pros of this significant sector overbalance the cons if it manages properly as we will discuss.

It is argued that more parks and sports equipment should be built in cities rather than shopping centres. I completely agree with the idea to have more public gardens and fitness tools as many benefits can be seen on this behaviour.

People have recently become more oriented towards a lazy lifestyle, especially during their free time. The main reason for that is the huge technological advancements happened in the last decades. Instead of going to do sports, they prefer scanning social media, watching television., or playing video games. This might lead to physical and mental health problems. In this essay, I am going to discuss the main causes for not following an active routine during the free time of some people and give relevant examples.
