In the modern world, with the advancement of technology, there are many ways to monitor and control our city and society. Some say that this trend leads to a drop in criminal activities other argue that it's not effective. My opinion stands closer to the premier group.

“ Many people think that men should go out to work while women’s place is in the home. To what extent do you agree or disagree?”

In the olden days, there was this mindset of some people who thought only men should step out for work while the women only belonged to the home to take care of the home and her family needs. In my opinion, I disagree as this thought is gradually changing and we can witness women are being empowered nowadays.

In some countries, owning a home rather than renting one is very important for people. Why might this be the case? Do you think is a positive or negative situation?

Selecting a place to live in is a very big decision to make. In some parts of the world, the people want their own accommodation because it is a sense of achievement rather than renting which could not save money. Living in a personal house can make people feel fulfilled. I think it has some positive aspects.

Traditional food is undergoing great changes and being replaced by new diets. What do you think are the reasons and what do you think about this phenomenon?

The meaning of traditional food has been increasingly significant in a fast-moving and dynamic society. The question here is whether why there is a tendency of changing and replace traditional food with new meals. However, I state my view that these trends might come from changes in human lifestyle, and this phenomenon may have advantages.

It is important for children to learn the difference between right and wrong at an early age. Punishment is necessary to help them learn this distinction. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion? What sort of punishment should parents and teachers be allowed to use to teach good behavior to children?

There is no doubt that raising children nowadays is way harder than it was before with the development and technology that we see in the country, which seems that they become unaware about the right and the wrong things they may make with their lives. In this essay, I am going to discuss how to make them learn to see the difference and what punishment they may face in forthcoming.

Many people suggest that governments should prioritize their own citizenry rather than offering aid to foreign countries. I strongly agree with this statement, as this issue sometimes harms nations instead of doing good.

There are controversial ideas heating a debate over how to achieve accomplishment. While some claim a strong view that getting access to colleges is the sole way to become a high-achiever, the opposite makes a statement that other factors affect it. While each has its perks, I would contend that it is optimal to combine both mentioned factors.

A number of climate activists assume that it is critical for students to participate in climate change protests while some parents affirm that youngsters had a better focus on learning at school. In my perspective, I partly agree with this view and I shall put forth some ideas to exemplify my points with lucid examples in the following paragraphs.

Several people say that the development of economics is the only solution to stop starvation and poverty, while others say that economic growth is the main thing that harms the environment so it should be stopped. In this essay, I will discuss both of these views before giving my opinions.

Nowadays, many people are saying that the police forces create violence by carrying guns in public places although, a set of folks oppose this. In my opinion, it is necessary for the police people to carry guns to protect themselves as well as the public also. This essay will discuss the topic in detail with relevant examples in the following paragraphs.

The financial questions raised by whether governments funding should be given to minority languages or not are subject to much debate. As far as equity and efficiency are concerned, I personally believe that it is not a good choice to spend too much on saving minority languages.

It is considered by some people that broadcasting the major sports events, such as Olympic games and the football world cup encourages adults to indulge themselves in sports and exercise. However, other people think that there are better ways to fulfil this purpose. I am of the opinion that apart from TV, the focus should be turned to the other methods of motivation.

In this modern age, advertising has the power to encourage folks to buy their products because they have seen these products before. While there are some company advertises their goods as brand new, I believe that it will be a drawback for many people. This essay will discuss the reason why that company has done it and the negative impact from this circumstance.

It is said an increasing number of people choose to shop online, leading more stores in shopping malls to close. I totally disagree with the idea as shopping in real stores brings a lot of benefits.

Many crimes are often related to the consumption of alcohol some people think that the best way to reduce the crime rate is to ban alcohol. Do you think this is an effective measure against crime? What other solution can you suggest?

Alcohol-related crimes are steadily on the rise in many countries. Whilst many argue the way to curtail this sort of crime is to ban alcohol altogether, I do not think this is an effective measure. In the course of this essay, I will substantiate my reasoning whilst providing possible solutions.

Test and examinations are a central feature of school system in many countries. Do you think educational benefits of testing outweigh any disadvantages?

The field of education has long struggled with coming up with a way to measure the aptitude of students and how much knowledge have they gained. Tests and written exams became the global standard to do so. I believe that examinations do more good than harm as they are a great way of measuring knowledge, especially if those exams are well-structured.

Taking back historical artefacts to their originated nation, in this contemporary era, has become a desire of other countries. I accord with this assertion up to a higher extent and pertinent notions will be explicated further.

Nowadays, Consumerism is pervasive among many societies worldwide. Many individuals try to possess a lot of objects that could be in most cases unnecessary. While the obvious stem is that we are bombarded by intrusive campaigns everywhere which urge us to purchase, materialistic culture among the population has to be blamed as well. In my perspective, this trend has a detrimental effect on both humans and our planet.

Under British and Australian laws a jury in a criminal case has no access to information about the defendant's past criminal record. This protects the person who is being accused of the crime. Some lawyers have suggested that this practice should be changed and that a jury should be given all the past facts before they reach their decision about the case. Do you agree or disagree?

A group of lawyers gave their opinion regarding the criminal case laws which suggest hiding their previous criminal record as this law would save them from any harsh penalty. In my opinion, I agree with the fact that government must make some amendments to these laws.
