car ownership has increased so rapidly over the past thirty years that many cities in the world are now 'one big traffic jam' How true do you think this statement is? what measures can governments take to discourage people from using their cars?

The population of car owners has significantly grown over the past thirty years, not only because cars have become much more affordable, but also due to the convenience they have brought. With the rapid increase in car ownership, some people claim that many places in the world suffer from traffic issues. In this essay, I will explain my thoughts on this statement, but more importantly, propose some possible solutions that authorities can take to cut down the use of cars to alleviate these traffic problems.

As the modern world is advanced and peaceful, the barrier preventing humanity from overpopulating is crumbling. As of 2023, there are over 8 billion individuals walking the Earth, posing a great threat to ourselves. Provided that the human race has faced and overcome infinite threats, some of which could obliterate all civilization, I believe overpopulation isn’t the greatest issue we’ve faced.

Due to the lack of natural resources, it seems that the earth will be in a troublesome situation and there will be no hope to live on it. According to one school of thought, scientists should conduct more researches to make other planets capable of living. However, I do not fully agree with this statement. This essay will discuss the need of researching other planets along with possible measures to make our planet viable.
