There is currently a controversy over the issue of whether in the upcoming years people have a preference to read news and books unlimitedly on online platforms for free in lieu of reading paper-based publications. In my humble opinion, I vehemently agree with this statement as this phenomenon would bring about less environmental destruction and more ease and convenience for readers.

For this reason, many people hold the view that fixed punishment is the solution, while others believe that intention behind the offence should be considered prior to punishment. I will examine both views and explain why I think petty crimes should have fixed punishments, however, heinous ones should be dealt with individually.

It is irrefutable that crimes are burgeoning day by day in every country. An army of masses thinks that abuse should be fixed for all kinds of offences. While some people believe that circumstances should be analyzed behind crime till decide the abuse. I think that situations should be the first consideration before punishment.
