Nowadays technology is increasingly being used to monitor what people are saying and doing (for example, through cell phone tracking and security cameras). In many cases, the people being monitored are unaware that this is happening. Do you think the advantages of this development outweight the disadvantages?

In recent times, the world has witnessed many technological advancements. One such development is the usage of technology in tracking individuals and their activities via mobiles and CCTV cameras. It is often observed that some people are not even aware that they are being monitored, and this can lead to distrust among people. Though this technological evolution is advantageous up to a certain extent, I believe that it has more downsides associated with it, and I shall be discussing the same in the subsequent paragraphs.

In the contemporary world, an increasing number of professionals have migrated to foreign countries to search for better jobs. Many of them come from countries with different languages, hence they frequently face language barriers which affect them socially and practically. I agree with this statement and will further elaborate on them in this essay.

What the future holds for paper media is nothing but a complete disappearance thanks to the availability of written content on the Internet. It goes without saying that this trend has already commenced and online publications have by far overtaken paper-based ones, which is basically the result of the prevalence of state-of-the-art gadgets and also the far more reasonable prices on e-newspaper and e-books. I agree that the promising future of this industry will be under the dominance of the digital world.

In the modern world, some people believe that people are more bonded together as a result of advanced technology. However, others are against that opinion as technology has separated people apart. In recent media, photos are used in a more efficient and effective way as compared to the olden times. However, some people believe that photographs are more effective than other news while others do not. Nowadays, companies are making recruitment more complicated to choose the best candidate. Many argue that creative and independent workers tend to perform better. However, others think those willing to work in a group and disciplined are more efficient. Many small and local businesses are under threat by the booming development of supermarkets in some countries. In this contemporary era, due to the evolution of the electronics and computer industries, online education has become one of the most popular methods of teaching. While the majority of society accepts that computer-based learning is essential for students, some critics argue that traditional paper-based learning has more advantages. According to my experience as a student and a teacher, I strongly believe that students should utilize online resources in order to have a better learning experience.
