Some people from both developing and developed countries have debated whether the advent of sophisticated modern technology such as smartphone, laptop and iPad have helped people enhance and improve people’s social life or it was the opposite case. Personally, I strongly advocate the former statement.

It had been noticed that the media have more tendency to focus on problems and emergencies than a positive development. Undeniably, curricula for high school students includes literary study such as reading novels and poems because studying textbooks and reading literature not only booster students' basic skills like reading, speaking and writing and also assist any student in becoming a person with right personal values. In my opinion, high school students should be encouraged to read literature.

Developments in various sectors such as skilled, professional and non- professional are quite important for a country to progress. Although some people think that it needs to be done by the individual country themselves whereas I think that the government's in the wealthier nations must help them.
