A person’s worth nowadays seems to be judged according to social status and material possessions. Old-fashioned values, such as honour, kindness and trust, no longer seem important. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

In my opinion, I agree with the statement that teenagers should be accompanied by adults under their guidance when they go out at night. I believe three reasons support my opinion: Firstly, they are more likely to be exposed to crime, especially at night. It is important to make sure that we as an adult take responsibility and provide guidance to protect their safety. There are individuals who might harm teenagers physically, emotionally, and psychologically, especially during nighttime when crime rates tend to be higher. Secondly, Teenagers are exposed to alcohol and may be tempted to consume it by peers. Thirdly, being accompanied by adults can also help teenagers to make responsible choices. Adolescence is a crucial period for learning and development, and the ego is not yet developed to make the right decision. They are more likely not to engage in risky behaviors under the guidance of adults.

Growing numbers of security cameras in cities for the purpose of enhancing social saftey has led to some concerns for a group of citizens. This group are mostly worried about the potential threats of these devices for human liberiy. Accepting this probale issue,I personally assume that the benefits of using these measures considrablity outweigh its disadvantages. As these devices can intrude people’s privacy,they could be potentialy problematic in some societies.
