Some people think that multiple choice tests are better than tests that require you to write an essay. Either way, both test styles are a huge benefit to different people. Choice tests are designed for students to catch a break from all the writing. This is a huge benefit for people whose writing skills are poor so they can study for the test and all they need to do is to choose an answer. On the other hand there are people who don't listen in class and don't prepare for the test. Given a test where students have multiple answers to choose from, if they are lucky they will choose the right one. On the second hand tests that require writing essays have their one advantages. For example you can't get out of studying because if you don't prepare for the test you will fail. It is also a good practice for people whose writing skills are not that great.
