To begin with, there is a conception that the prices of cultural and historical attractions had better be more expensive for foreign travelers than inhabitants .The reason of ‘two-tier price’ is much higher disposable income of tourists than third-world locals .As an example ,overseas visitors get used to travelling per year, whereas local people cannot afford to go abroad even once in their lives .Moreover, there are other arguments to differential pricing. Since residents are contributing to upkeep of their national heritage through taxes .Annually, part of the profit of the local population is used to repair of cultural buildings .Apart from that, the impact of mass tourism on historical places requires a lot of money to preserve and renovate them adequately .For instance, foreign visitor does not care about the cleanliness and beauty of place, as a result ,it needs more effort and finance to keep them the same .
