Smokers can cause themselves serious health problems. The choice to smoke is made freely and with knowledge of the dangers. Smokers should therefore expect to pay more for medical treatment that non-smokers. To what extent do you agree with this statement?

Nowadays, the number of smokers is increasing rapidly as newer methods of smoking was introduced, namely electronic cigarettes. As the decision to become one is made voluntarily despite all the possible dangers, I believe smokers should be responsible to spend more money for treatments compared to those who are non-smokers.

For instance, in the country where I live, I have seen the rise of fast-food restaurants in my life span. Many health experts are concerned about the negative effects of junk food on citizens' health and some authorities have made policies to limit fast food consumption in the community. In this essay, I will discuss if traditional fast food is really a big threat to society or not and if it is, to what extent we should be concerned.
