The world today, faces a threat to its existence due to environmental problems of grave nature. The rise of such issues might be attributed to the rapid industrialisation led by technological advancements in the last century. Nonethless, I strongly believe that these threats will be neutralised too, by technology itself. Inventions in the areas of energy, transportation and industrial waste management will lead to an improved climatic condition.

Many public schools find that they are inadequately funded by the government and must resort to other ways of raising money. Selling food provides a source of revenue as well as a service to students but, in my view, the sale of junk food and soft drinks or ‘energy’ drinks is a worrying development.

From my point of view, I disagree with the idea that people rely only on doctor or medicine rather than changing their lifestyle to become healthier. In the following paragraphs, the reasons to support my opinion will be outlined in detail.

It's undeniable that globalization is the trend of today's world . There are some people who think developed countries should allow recruitment offers for the skilled workforce from underdeveloped countries , l completely agree with this notion . It is argued that some electronic devices, such as mobile phones should be prohibited in public spaces, like libraries, stores, museums, and public transport. In my opinion, I disagree with the fact that the mentioned devices should be completely banned in such places, since this will be an extreme choice. However, I believe few rules have to be established to assure an appropriate usage of these tools.

In society, many people often meet bad situations throughout their lives. Some people suggest that it is superior to accept the terrible circumstances such as unsatisfactory job or shortage of money whilst other opponents believe that seeking a chance to enhance the conditions. People have different notions about this issue but I personally prefer the latter views.

Due to some trust issues, nowadays people feel unsafe both at home and outside their home. There are myriad reasons behind these problems such as, increase in the number of crimes and unemployment; however, few remedies like providing mental health education and jobs could be the best solutions for this problem.

Some people say that instead of seeing the Internet as a way of opening up new communication possibilities world- wide, we should be concerned about the effect this is having on social interaction. A recent survey has made it evident that ppeople are exhausting a greater amoutnt of time on the internet these days, and thus spending less time socialising in person. I strongly agree that although the adven tof internet has windened the means and scope of communiucation, it has also had deterimental effects on the amount and quality of social interaction that takes place.

Thanks to the development of science and technology, medical and health care are upgraded to the next level and help people to live longer than before. From my perspective, although this evolution can cause some burden to the medical staff, it brings more benefits to society such as productivity of workers and reaching accomplishment.

Many governments have a belief that economic progress is their priority. On the other hand, some people believe that other types of progress are as important as economic growth. I personally stand in the argument that developing in other things such as strengthening the military reinforcement should be treated equally important with the growth in the economy.

The advent of computer games has given rise to a new dilemma for parents, whereby some people suggest that parents should prohibit their offspring from playing computer games. To be able to figure out what is acceptable and what is not, is an important lesson to be learnt by all humans. In recent times, there is a raging debate over how and to what extent our children should be penalised to make them able to identify good and bad actions. In my opinion, punishing the wrongdoings of children in a moderate and acceptable manner is the way forward.

It is argued that since computer usage in education has become more and more relevant, teachers will not be needed in schools in the next future. In my opinion, I disagree with the fact that teachers will not have a role in the classroom due to technology development. On the contrary, I believe that a machine could never replace a human being, especially a teacher. As human beings, we are provided with some particulars features that a machine will never have, such as critical-thinking and soft skills, which are essential in teaching.

I strongly agreed with this statement to educate the child to protect the surroundings of the environment is equal to learning how to write and read.
