In several countries, ordinary people crave to buy their own house instead of leasing a flat. There are some reasons for the increasing desire for house possession that will be discussed in this essay.

Nowadays, some individuals think that studying the English language in an foreign country where people speak in english is the best option but not the once. I strongly agree with this opinion because people can learn it from the Internet and from the courses with teacher.

The number of ooverweight children in developed countries is increasing. Some people this is due to problems such as the growing number of fast food outlets. Others believe that parents are to blame for not looking after their children's health. To what extent do you agree with these views?

The rapid increase in overweight children in a country like Sri Lanka can be seen due to many reasons. As mentioned in the question it can be caused by fast moving food outlets and careless parents who do not give attention to their kin's health. In my opinion, there could be other reasons as well. But I would agree on mentioned two reasons since they are the main causes.

Should students be allowed to choose which classes they take, or should they be required to take the same classes as everyone else? There is a discussion about whether students should be able to choose their own lectures or they should follow a common curriculum as same as everyone else. The main benefits of individualised schedules are they can prioritise lessons, and select them due to their desired careers; however, the key drawbacks are they might have lacking areas and limited career opportunity after graduation without taking certain lectures.

Studying english is generally perceived as more essential and have a lot more urgency than a native local language subject as english is deemed as a global language. Consequently, this results in the diminishing number of the local language speaker. Although learning english is still quite important, it has many other mediums that can contribute to the language introduction. Hence, this essay will elaborate the urgency for more attention towards the preservation of native language on both school and everyday life and some potential efforts needed to preserve them.
