There is an underlying assumption that the modern world is divided into two parts. On the one side, many arguing that we are on the edge of the envoronmental catastrophy, while others claim that the future of the manking is for technological advances. There are some obvious benefits and less obvious donwsides, which I am going to explain further.

Nowadays, there has been a big debate about whether the government should provide expensive technology such as videos or DVDs or not. Nowdays the government state a new rule regarding students in elementary school are forbidden to bring a gizmo in the school. In my opinion, it is because a decreasing number of elementary students who have a good grade based on national standard. It is argued that industrial development can resolve poverty while some others hold opposite point of view believing that this is the cause of problem and should be banned. This essay will argue that despite that factory create jobs and incomes for people in poor, it leads to income inequality, as the benefits may be concentrated among a few wealthy individuals or corporations which means the drawback of developing industry is far more outweight the advantages on the view of solving poverty.
