Sending criminals to prison is not the best method of dealing with them. Education and job training are better ways to help them. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

There are two controversial perspectives heating up a debate over the optimal way to deal with lawbreakers. While some claim that sending them to jail is the best tactic to handle the offender, others make a statement that schooling and vocational training are more superior methods. While the formal is valid to some extent, I consider myself an advocate of the latter.

It is a matter of fact that different countries in the world hold different criminality rates, and it is also true that those rates change dynamically depending on the conditions and societal shifts that occur. I believe that people might break the law for many reasons, the main reason being having the opportunity to do so easily. This leads to proposing a solution that includes enforcing the law more strictly.

Technology have changed how we communicate with one another over the last decades. In my opinion, the new practices in interaction have led to negative consequences, and as a result, people may find themselves in dangerous situations and gradually lose their social skills which are vital in every aspect of life.

Given the power and influence of the superrich, it might seem as if social status and material possessions are the new symbols of personal worth, but in everyday life I do not think this is true. It is apparent that most celebrities today are admired or envied solely for their material wealth or position in various social hierarchies. Many of these people are known to turn their backs on friends, cheat on their spouses or spend their evenings over-indulging in alcohol and/or drugs. Things like owning a mansion, driving an expensive car and getting into A-list parties are exalted above old-fashioned values. Ultimately, though, it is the many readers of gossip magazines and celebrity blogs who reinforce these ideas.
