The dominant reason behind this is a growth in the number of vehicles. For instance, in Delhi, individuals are coming from all over India to eighter work or study and they bring a car or bike with them. Besides this, the bad infrastructure of the roads has been causing lots of congestion, it has been seen that the width of the road is not good enough to handle the traffic. Because that made it difficult to pass any vehicle. Therefore, the more vehicles on the road, the great traffic will increase.
