In the technological age today, almost all of our aspects of life have been transformed, and this includes health care. An improvement in health care facilities means people will live longer, and there will be more elderly to take care of. Can society cope with this? With many positive factors, Thailand has the potential to become a developed nation. However, it remains trapped in a group of developing countries due to many problems that need addressing. To overcome the middle-income trap, the Thai government needs to focus on improving current industrial sectors, as well as increasing income from the tourism sector by investing in a creative economy.
