Currently, a lot of studies is being done to explore the existence of life on planets other than Earth and governments of different countries are funding a huge amount of finances to do this research. I reckon it is logical to aid these poor peasants with taxes and other supports, as they are as if a god since thay grow vegetables and feed the 7 billion people living in the world.
