It is believed by many that children's involvement in various creative activities benefits juniors in improving their overall skills and innovation more than reading. I personally believe that both of them are equally essential for the sake of guaranteeing a promising upcoming generation.

In their advertising, businesses nowadays usually emphasise that their products are new in some way. Why is this? Do you think it is positive or negative development?

In this contemporary world, it is undoubtedly true that companies are getting innovative in the advertising sector. In advertisements,companies pretend that their existing goods and services are new in some way. I firmly believe that this is a positive development and the reasons are articulated in further paragraphs.

Some people think that having a set retirement age (e.g 65 years) for everybody, regardless of occupation, is unfair. They believe that certain workers deserve to retire and receive a pension at an early age. Do you agree or disagree?

Some individuals believe that it is not reasonable for seniors who get retired at the age of 65 no matter what their jobs are. They argued that in some particular job positions, the employees can stop working and receive their pension whenever they want. I totally agree with the latter statement and will discuss the reasons in this essay.

Large billboards, posters and electronic panels can be found in every nook and corner of the cities nowadays. The amount of exposure to marketing of any product can skew the thinking process of a consumer and cause adverse effects in their life, with which I agree.

Youngsters are spending more time on TV and video games as opposed to a book, resulting in health problems and a lack of knowledge. I concur with the statement that children`s priority should be reading books versus watching television and playing computer games.

In recent years, the issue of learning lessons has been brought to the public attention. Some people put forward the idea that school and university students learn lessons far better from their teachers than from other resources, such as the internet and television. Nevertheless, those people who are opposed to it hold the view that college students studying on the internet and television are much better than lecturers. Taking both sides of the argument into consideration. I am of the opinion that students learn lessons far better from their teachers than from other resources. My arguments for this point are listed in the following.

There are multiple factors that contribute to the development of serious cases such as land and sea pollution. One of these reasons is the excessive use of plastic bags during shopping. Accordingly, I agree with the fact that the utilisation of these bags should be prevented. This essay, therefore, will discuss the reasons that support my point of view and some alternatives that could be used instead.

As a result of automotive industries becoming more advanced. A number of transports are likely to be more driverless and contain just only passengers. There are some who believe that driverless cars could give much more benefits whilst others disagree. This essay will discuss both positions and I will conclude with my personal opinion.

The idea of students working in their free time is appreciated by most parents. However, it could result in serious consequences, which cannot be neglected.

When it comes to pupils these days, people hold conflicting views on whether they should learn how to grow vegetables and keep animals. In my opinion, while I understand that growing vegetables and keeping animals may have some drawbacks, I strongly believe that its benefits are greater.

Nowadays technology is increasingly being used to monitor what people are saying and doing (for example, through cell phone tracking and security cameras). In many cases, the people being monitored are unaware that this is happening. Do you think the advantages of this development outweigh the disadvantages?

As humanity has progressed, technology has also advanced. We have made great strides in technology from the invention of the telephone by Graham Bell in the 19th century to the iPhone by Steve Jobs in the 21st century. As technology has progressed, there has been an increase in the use of gadgets to monitor people. However, such monitoring has both positive and negative effects.

Whoever controls the media also controls opinions and attitudes of the people and there is little that can be done to rectify this. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

These days, due to technological development, there are many historical documentary films which have lack historical accuracy. A part of our society believes that this false information about the past is effective for students. I strongly disagree with this point of view, because imprecise knowledge from series and films can be improved the stereotype of history in learners and can give them wrong data that they do not need. And in this essay I would like to explain why I do not agree with this view.

There is no doubt that today's people have been increasingly bombarded by tons of advertisements. Although some propound that successful advertising is able to attract more attention from potential customers, others consider it no longer persuasive as an excessive number of ads have been made.

Some people think a job not only provides income but also social life. Others think it is better to develop social life with people you do not work with. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

There is a common impression that an occupation brings both a salary for living and the development of social bonding among colleagues, while some are of the opinion that people should widen their companionship in society with others outside of the workplace. In my perspective, even though some benefits of both views can be plainly seen, I would utterly concur with the latter one.
