Around the world, many adults are working from home, and more children are beginning to study from home because technology has become cheaper and more accessible Do you think this is a positive or negative development? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Todays technology has enabled some of the work force and education system to scale back and transtistion to an off campus system. Althogh presenting some negative side effects I believe it to be a positive change.

Some people believe that there should be a fixed punishment for each type of crime. Others, however, argue that the circumstances of an individual crime, and the motivation for committing it, should always be taken into account when deciding on the punishment. Discuss both of these two views and give your own opinion. Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

While many people think that every crime ought to choose frome coded laws, others tend to believe that each crime has unique features thus all circumstances are important and should be taken into account by court. This essay discuss both views and then I will give my own perspective.

It is widely accepted that teachers are given salaries depending on seniority and experience in many schools. While some believe that educator salary should vary by the student's performance, others argue that it should not. I strongly agree that they should be paid based on classroom learning.

Studying the English language in an English-speaking country is the best but not the only way to learn language. Do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Some people believe that the optimal way to learn English is to study it in an English-speaking country, but even if you can not afford it, many other opportunities exist. I completely agree with this position. When a student is living in such countries as Australia or the UK, he is put in a situation where the language is everywhere, and it is easier to learn English. At the same time, modern technologies can help to get the same experience from any place in the world.

Some people say that Ebooks and modern technology will totally replace traditional newspapers and magazines. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Nowadays, some people agree that the breakthroughs in digital technologies cause paper based content to be fully replaced, while the opposite side do not believe in a total transformation reading process. Although I prefer the classical type of reading, in my opinion, the innovations and changes in human's mind will leave magazines and newspapers in the past.

TECHNOLOGICAL DEVICES HAVE BEEN INTEGRATED INTO ALL PARTS OF OUR LIVES. WORKING THROUGH PHONES HAS BEEN A POPULAR TREND AMONG THE PRESENT GENERATION IN RECENT YEARS. ALTHOUGH THIS TREND HAS SOME DRAWBACKS, I BELIEVE THAT ITS ADVANTAGES OUTWEIGH THE DISADVANTAGES.

“Prevention is better than cure”. Researching and treating diseases is too costly so it would be better to invest in preventative measures. To what extent do you agree?

Health problem prevention is more important than cure due to the high cost of medical experiments and treatment, so preventive intervention could be the one option. Overall, I totally agree with the statement due to the cost-effectiveness and improving the healthy lifestyle to increase the quality of life.

Due to the development and rapid expansion of supermarket in some countries, many small, local business are unable to compete. Some people think that the closure of local business will bring about the death of local communities. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is a common belief that rapid expansion of supermarket in some countries, many small, local business are able to compete and local business will bring about the develop of local communities. However, I firmly believe that this expansion brings threats for local business in stead of chances.

Traditions are about the past and innovation is about the future, and it has been argued that we need to let go of traditions for the sake of progress. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this? What role should traditions have in our lives? Many countries have a set of traditions from the past that creates who they are and how they approach actions which often conflicts with newer innovative ways of approaching problems. This essay will look into the balance of how much traditions should determine life and how much society should be open to innovation.

It is often argued that higher authorities should control the selection of academic majors in the tertiary education, whilst others disagree and think that students should be given complete freedom to select the area of study they are passionate of. In my opinion, I believe that although subjects selection by the government negates the disparity among society, overall when students will undertake their own choice majors it will enhance their academic performance.

in the future, nobody will buy printed newspaper or books because they will able to read everything, they want online without paying. to what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

We live in an age where everything we use and consume is digital and somehow dependent on technology. This has caused a lot of speculation in literary circles that print media namely newspapers and books is a dying industry. As a result, everything will be digitalized and available at no cost in near future. Herein, I present my case on disagreeing with this thought.

Some people think that having a set retirement age for everybody regardless of occupation is unfair. They believe that certain workers deserve to retire and receive pension at an early age. Do you agree or disagree?

Generally speaking, retrirement age is 65 years old in this day and age. Regarding this, some people assert that it is not fair to set the same age for retirement as some jobs are more dangerous than others. I strongly believe that some specific employees who work in certain dangerous industries should retire earlier and be recieved pension earlier than other occupation.

With fast pace of modern life more and more people are turning towards fast food for their main meals. Do you think the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?

In the modertn era, fast-food restaurants are ubiquitous as they are indispensable for busy people. Regarding this, there are pros and cons to eat fast food. However, I strongly believe that the drawback of eating fast food overwhelm the benefit.

It has been observed that the proportion of elderly persons increasing day by day.Some people have the opinion that these graphs are dangerous for our nation.However, others believe that senior citizen is more important for society.Before arriving at my position both the sides of the argument will be analyzed further.

In some countries it is illegal to reject someone applying for a job because of his or her age. Do you think this is a positive or negative development?

Different countries have different legislations. Some countries have a law to restrict people of a certain age to work in some fields. That kind of restrictions may benefit the jobs that require physical fitness, but other intellectual works can have no age boundary, therefore, I believe such laws have positive as well as negative development.

Happiness in human beings is a part of life. Some believe, it comes after getting economically success, but others say that, it can be achieved in different ways. In my opinion, I believe economic success as well as other criterias in a person's life bring happiness.
