As a part of their education, individuals should spend a period of time living or working in another country. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

In today’s world, living in a multicultural society is the norm in many developed countries. If people are to understand each other’s cultures and beliefs, living together is the best way to do this. Therefore, in my view, this should be part of the education of every individual if possible.

The world is heavily dependent on oil for energy, which is unsustainable due to global warming. What future resource do you think will take oil’s place? Why do you think this?

The world population has become highly dependent on fossil energy sources over the last fifty years. It is agreed that the current approach exerts severe pressure on fragile ecological balance, and new power streams must be implemented. This essay will shed some light on the issue and provide both plausible alternatives and arguments to support the point.

Education and health care should be funded by the government and free for everyone. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

The government is expected to play a big role in improving the life quality of its people. Especially in public sector areas like education and health care where it is considered a basic need of any humankind. It is agreed that the citizens should have free access to them. Analysing the impact of prolonging life expectancy, as well as the improvement in the economy in the long run will prove this.

A new and unfamiliar path could play a crucial role in people’s professional and personal lives. In my opinion, I think there are more benefits than drawbacks regarding the topic.

Scientific development is one of the most indispensable subjects in modern society. Even though some argue the mission of science should be focused on divergent aspects of society, and not only based on human life, I think by putting the focus on improving the quality of individuals’ lives and betterment of humanity, science also would cover other aspects, like a lot of worldwide challenges, such as climate change.

The efficient functioning of society is based on rules and laws. Society would not function well if individuals were free to do whatever they wanted. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

The establishment of legislation is a focal point of contemporary societal discussions. While some argue that granting absolute privilege to entities would lead to a well-functioning society, I would contend that a structured framework of statutes is indispensable for maintaining a community’s order.

It is sometimes argued that authorities ought to ban people from playing dangerous sports, while others believe that they should play any sports with freedom. In my opinion, people should play any sports they want based on their interests.

Business always attempts to make better profits, but there is a controversial issue surrounding their social responsibilities, nowadays. I totally believe in the idea that they should do more for society than simply make money.

At the pace technology is advancing, human lifestyle is bound to change. Over the years we have developed enough technology to make a real electric car, which a hundred years ago would have been just a dream, however, this has started new debates, for example, if fossil fuel-powered cars should be banned and replaced. I personally think that although electric cars might be the future, the problem is more complicated than just banning non-renewable energy sources cars and replacing them, since both have their ups and downs.

In the future nobody will buy printed newspapers or books because they will be able to read everything they want online without paying. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

It has been suggested that in the coming years, people will increasingly prefer to read news and books online for free instead of paying for printed copies. While I agree with this statement to some extent, I think that books will continue to be printed, while newspapers may eventually disappear.

Living in country where you have to speak a foreign language can cause serious social problems, as well as practical problems to what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Immigrating to other countries in pursuit of happiness and prosperity is the main feature of modernity. Given that the language of the new country may be different from the country of origin, some plausible social and personal problems may be aroused accordingly. I hold the view that regardless of the benefits offered by the new society, immigrants might face numerous problems, which will be examined here.

Even recently, the old discussion of ageism is still a hot issue talked about by the people. While many individuals stand with the importance of the old citizens, there are also many folks from different backgrounds that hold the youth in a higher position. In this essay, I shall discuss points from both views before sharing my opinion about this matter.

There is a rising trend of working from anywhere coming from the habit during the quarantine phenomenon. This trend surely brings many changes to the society. This essay will provide parts of society which are affected by the working transformation.

Nowadays, there are more undergraduate students who are focusing their time on education while they evade other activities which essential to their lives. I totally agree with the argument of taking other exercises because both studying and doing other actions should in balanced. This essay will elaborate on the reason through the following paragraphs.

Some people believe that it is best to accept a bad situation, such as an unsatisfactory job or shortage of money. Others argue that it is better to try and improve such situations. Whilst some people believe it is best to accept a bad situation, others might think that improving the situation can be a better option. I believe that overcoming problems by making more effort is a better decision, rather than just accepting reality.

There is little doubt over the fact that all parents dream of providing the best possible education for their children. This issue has sparked heated controversy with some people claiming that children should start school at 7 years old or more, while others strongly advocate that they should begin it as soon as possible. Personally, I totally concur with the former viewpoint.

A discourse about a success factor in sports is common, thus resulting in various responses. While some people think that mental strength is a trajectory to success, others say otherwise with physical health as the key. From my perspective, I agree with the latter point rather than the first.

In today’s world, people spend a lot of money on appearance because they want to look younger. Why does this happen? Do you think this is a positive or negative development?

Nowadays, how we look matters more than before. People tend to increase their spending on appearance just so they look younger. It is agreed that the typical beauty standard is only based on the superficial of certain bodily features, such as white skin, an anti-ageing face, a slim body, long black hair, etc. Moreover, it is the thing people do to acquire this that might be a bit concerning.

Nowadays governments are investing more in public transport such as buses and trains rather than in building new roads. Do you think the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?

In modern times, transportation has become a key factor for day-to-day activities where there are those who say that authorities are investing lots of money in public transport such as buses and trains while highways and public roads are declining every day. In this essay, I will examine the positive aspects and drawbacks of tourism and provide my overall opinion.

Some people think that men and women have good expertise only in particular fields. This means men are better at doing certain jobs and women are better at doing some other jobs. Do you agree or disagree?

The people with conservative views claim that the proficiency of certain skills in jobs is based on sex, therefore, making women more skilful in certain professions than men or vice versa. It is my contention that factually, the sex of a person plays a critical role in their mastery of that particular job nevertheless, it cannot be applied to all professions since both sexes could reach the highest level of competency.
