Some people argue that the science behind food should be learned as a compulsory subject in higher education for students, as how to be well-prepared for cooking processes, while another school of thought holds that students should allocate their time to core subjects. In this essay, I am going to elucidate both viewpoints, before clarifying my own opinion.
