IELTS Opinion Writing Samples Band 8.5
Some people reckon that wildlife should be retained in zoological parks because they can have a longer life compared to those living in forests, while others argue that they should live in their natural habitat as it makes them happier with freedom. In this essay, both sides of view will be explained before my perspective is reached.
It is often argued that it is more advantageous to choose a job with a high wage, even if it doesn't appeal to you at all. I completely disagree with this opinion and think that job contentment is much more important than income.
Whereas educational success is regarded as the prime factor in professional success by many people, others suggest that different reasons are to be held accountable as well. I strongly believe that several other aspects of a person's life are part of this accomplishment.
It has been believed for years that it's the duty of the wife to look after the home affairs. I don't agree with this, as I believe that a perfect house is one, where both partners play their roles. Secondly, women are as successful in the field as men.
Numerous researchers are going continuously to find the best way of curing diseases. An opinion about prevention activities being way better than research and treatment is raised because of the huge amount of money that will be spent on research or cure. From my point of view, I agree that prevention is important and cheaper, however, the study is also essential to enlighten our knowledge about the disease and will help define the best strategy to prevent it.
These days, many parts of society argue that, when it comes to intelligence and social skills, children's educational development is mainly influenced by school teachers. I strongly disagree with this point of view, as I believe family is the students' prime source of influence.
Money has always been a vital factor in everyone's life and it really matters while picking a post, but there are some other factors which matter as much as salary such as performance satisfaction, finding friendly colleagues as well as the environment a firm is surrounded by really matter.
Whereas many individuals argue that kids ought to learn competition skills while attending school, others insist that teamwork proves more beneficial to students' future prospects. I strongly believe that those who learn to cooperate and work together end up developing healthier happier lives.

Have modern advancements brought more benefits than drawbacks to the public? It is a widely debated topic among people that relying too much on technology in this day and age for many different tasks is posing a high risk. I strongly disagree with this statement for the reasons outlined below.
