IELTS Opinion Writing Samples Band 8.5
Nowadays, in many nations children are involved in different types of jobs. While some people argue that having some employment experience has a negative influence on children, others think this may be useful for children’s education and responsibility. In this essay, I will delve deep into both sides of the argument and give out my conclusion.
Although the number of doctors is rising and modern medicine has been very successful in treating different kinds of diseases, still many people would prefer to use more traditional forms of treatment. The following paragraphs will analyze this phenomenon while contributing my opinion. ( 43 )
Nowadays, worldwide companies are expanding, resulting in an increasing number of jobs and in some situations, it becomes challenging for human resources to hire a perfect candidate. Some recruits based on qualifications and experience while others are taking personal qualities more into consideration. In my opinion, employee personality is so dominant.
It is an undeniable fact that sleeping is the most effective way to relax. Although a section of the community thinks completely opposite of this notion as they believe that sports are the foremost way to get relaxation, I opine that involvement in physical activities can be more helpful than sleeping.
It is commonly accepted that the younger ones learn from different sources. While some believe that teachers are the most crucial source of learning for offspring, others claim that they can only develop their skills through their parents. I strongly agree that parents are more influential than teachers. I feel this way for several reasons, which I will explore in the following paragraphs.
Pupils of a school completely reliant upon laptops. This is a clear sign of danger in writing along with reading skills. Tutors should ignore using computers in the classroom at any cost and go back to the traditional style of teaching basic skills of study. I completely agree with the statement as it reduces the cognitive abilities of children along with increasing the misusage of technology. People hold different views on the sources for learning. While some claim that one can learn better from printed resources, others believe that experience is the best teacher. In my opinion, I assume that knowledge can be obtained from experience. I feel this way for several reasons, which I will explore in the following paragraphs.
Nowadays, communities in our society are more dependent on readymade food items. As a result, they are suffering from various kinds of health issues due to the high consumption of sugary drinks and food. According to some people, increasing the prices of these foods will discourage people from buying them and eventually it will lead them to divert their lifestyle towards healthy consumption. This essay will argue why reducing the consumption of high-fat-containing meals is crucial for better physical condition.
Nowadays, a lot of advanced countries are faced with a new problem as more than 30% of their population is obese. People have a variety of views towards the cause of this problem such as genetics which can be true to some extent but there are other factors that have a larger share in the increasing rates of obesity that I discussed ahead.
It is often debated whether academic success is affected by either the quality of the teaching staff or a child's mindset towards the subject matter. Both sides of the coin are outlined below.
It is opined that public service should be incorporated into the secondary school syllabus. I completely agreed that community service will benefit both the students and society in the long run.

Few costly garments are better to have as opposed to a large count of cheaply priced clothes. I do agree with the statement as high-priced clothes are much more durable and look better. I do write my ideas with proper explanations in my forthcoming paragraphs.
Nowadays, the film,music and sports industries increased the salaries of their workers. Some people claim that these artists and sports stars should not be paid that much money. Personally, I disagree with this opinion and I envision that these celebrities deserve the earnings they get, but I additionally think that there are other important jobs that need to be highly paid and this essay will discuss these points in the following paragraphs.
Health issues arising from consuming excessive amounts of junk food are a cause of great concern in many countries. There are calls for governments to either reduce the prices of healthy foods through subsidies or to raise the costs of unhealthy products through taxation. In my opinion, a combination of the two is the best way forward.
