Inequality is a very real and concerning issue for every country in the world. One solution governments and politicians suggest will help reduce inequality is to tax citizens based on their level of income so resources can be redistributed to society. While this is a debatable topic whether it is the right thing to do or not, I personally believe that we should impose a tax on a more well-off group of people and spend it on important things like public transportation or the education system.

I firmly support the former view as it has several benefits including stimulated cognitive abilities. In this essay, I shall elaborate on these debatable perspectives and represent my stand regarding this difference of opinion.
