Recent years have witnessed an increase in the number of people reading online news on the Internet. However, it is argued that traditional newspapers are still important to the ways humans approach the news. While I accept that this perception is somewhat justifiable, I believe that this idea is rather less convincing as the Internet has become increasingly dominant due to the benefits it offers.
It is believed that a part-time job or sideline is an essential supplement for students in terms of their future careers despite the possibility of a temporary lapse of concentration to study. This essay will elaborate on both viewpoints and will attach my own perspective.
Some individuals argue that a university degree is the primary determinant of securing a high-quality job, while others contend that soft skills and practical experience are more crucial than academic qualifications. In this essay, I will explore both aspects of this debate, focusing on soft skills and academic achievements.
It is true that public transportation has an indispensable role to play in daily life. Therefore, some people harbour a belief that governmental expenditure should be invested in faster mass traffic, whilst others hold the reverse viewpoint. From my perspective, it is a very controversial issue that deserves an in-depth discussion, and a conclusion will be drawn.
Taking risks, both in career and personal life, is of significance for individuals. Although some believe that it has many drawbacks, I am more inclined toward its benefits.
It is argued by many people that non-salaried community work should be made compelling for high school students. While this could provide them with pre-graduate experience and help them orientate their future paths, I strongly disagree with this proposal as it creates more pressure for students and depletes their leisure time.
It is a debatable issue between groups of people whether vertical cities with numerous skyscrapers have better living and working conditions or the horizontal cities with fewer tall buildings should be considered favourable. According to my opinion, the former and latter view have their own benefits which I will discuss further.
Nowadays, the vast majority of individuals prefer to participate in highly dangerous outdoor sports, for instance, rock climbing and skydiving. I believe that the reasons behind this trend are getting the thrilling experience and accomplishing an achievement from these kinds of games. However, as there is a high chance of getting injured by being involved in these activities, I strongly think that the participants should pay the whole medical expenses if they get any injury while doing these sports.
In the contemporary world, business companies can advertise their products on a plethora of platforms like television, billboards, internet websites, radio stations and so on to convince the public to purchase their goods. However, some think that commercials are not that important to pay attention to, to some extent it is right because a lot of them are scams for people. In this, essay I will expatiate both views before stating my opinion.
Owing to globalization, there are numerous up-market fashion in every nook and corner. In most cities, youngsters are more inclined to go shopping as their free-time activity. In my opinion, the younger generation is fond of having fashionable dresses and this is a positive development since it gives happiness to people who are in a hectic lifestyle.
The number of senior citizens in society nowadays is climbing. Some believe it would lead to ramifications in their countries. whereas, others argue that they are of major importance to society. This essay agrees with the latter group, the benefits of having more older people benefit the public greatly.
There is a view that formal examinations are the best method to use in order to appropriately evaluate students’ performances since continuous assessments, such as projects and coursework, are not effective enough. I partly agree with this statement because formal exams can often be better in terms of determining the appropriate score for a student but can also be too stressful which at times impacts the performance of a candidate. Also, some types of continuous assessment do teach specific skills.
Some people hold a particular belief that the mothers who stay at home to take care of their loved ones should be compensated by the government body. Personally, I disagree with this opinion as it can lead to the unnecessary exploitation of funds. It can also give rise to an increased burden on the government.
In this day and age, many people believe that consuming locally grown food has more economic and environmental advantages than eating imported food. While both have their own merits and demerits, I deem that the upsides of domestic food outweigh the drawbacks.
Generally speaking, elevating sugary products' prices has caused an intensive debate over several years. Some people believe that charging a higher price for sweets and beverages could help people maintain a healthy lifestyle. In contrast, others argue that this approach will not significantly impact communities. From my point of view, I strongly agree that raising the price of sugary items could motivate people to reduce their sweet food and drink consumption.
Whilst certain individuals argue that university students should pay attention and invest their time in a specific subject in order to get a qualification, I believe that individuals are free to learn about other categories in addition to their major because it will serve multiple advantages to the following pupil.
The belief of a group of people is that students must follow their interests and just study them or find one, but there exists another group who is standing on another spot and say children must have knowledge about everything and obviously a basic form of them and study them. To be frank I personally have faith in the first society's mind and as far as I am concerned the second group's opinion will not work. I will clarify the whys of my choice due to the reasons which will be discussed in the following paragraphs.
Modern influencers have had a favourable effect on marketing and advertising on social networks, however, in the past being involved in a marketing system necessitated employment within a particular firm. Nowadays juveniles have an opportunity to participate in any kind of online content, which means that advertising has become more accessible for every individual.
Nowadays, students are very interested in earning additional income. Some argue that students who are pursuing their degree should have the additional responsibility of holding jobs whereas others believe that they should concentrate on their studies. In my opinion, I would strongly agree that students should always earn money by working in their leisure time as it would help them to understand the value of money and also it helps them with additional expenses.
It is believed that people with huge ambitions may be harmful to mankind, however, others claim that such a feature of character is a solution to numerous severe issues that have arisen in our modern world. Personally, I have a controversial point of view on this statement because we never know whether an individual is heart-kind to others or wants to destroy everyone’s lives.
