In many countries there has been an increase in social problems involving teenagers in recent years. Many people believe that this is due to modern lifestyles because parents spend more and more time at work and have less time to supervise their children. To what extent do you believe this is true?

In the modern day, more and more luxury technology and facilities were created to serve humans. To achieve that luxurious lifestyle, folks have to spend an enormous time on career growth as an effect of getting high wages for coping with high standards of life rather than parenting their offspring. In my opinion, parents play a key role in the development of their children, but the modern lifestyle has also played a part in the growth of children. This essay will discuss both views.

There are a number of reasons for this important can of worms. Our changing lifestyles have had a far-reaching effect on our health. Today, many young children are chronically overweight as a result. In this essay, I will outline some causes of childhood obesity and suggest ways the problem can be addressed. While obesity has several causes, poor diets and insufficient exercise appear to be key drivers of this serious disease. A move to a convenience food diet both in schools and at home has resulted in many youngsters eating mostly nutrient-low foods, which are high in sugars and fats and low in fibre. Our bodies are unable to process these foods efficiently so fat accumulates until our body mass index is high enough for us to be diagnosed as obese.
