I personally think if she gives 1500$ to us it is not only good descision for her but also it works for us, because of two major reasons. I'll explain my point of view in these following statements.

Taking a gap year between high school and university to work and travel offers students several advantages. First, it is convenient for them to have quality time for themselves and with their family, which could help them develop their relationships. For example, they could spend this time on traveling with family, which could not only strengthen their family bonds but also broaden their mind about the cultures and history of many places in the world. Second, there are a variety of opportunities for students to experience different part-time jobs, so they can earn money for living. This could allow them to pay for their tuition fee at university and reduce the financial burden for their family. In the long run, students experiencing different part-time jobs could find out their dream job.
