Some children spend hours every day on their smartphones. Why is this the case? Do you think this is a positive or a negative development? Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

In this day and age, studies show that some children spend a lot of spare time watching or scrolling on phones, even though their parents know well where it leads when they grow up. In my opinion a phone addiction is the worst problem for humanity and it has totally a negative development for the future. To begin with, there are several reasons why the mobile phone has become an integral part of our daily lives. Firstly, it is no secret that most people, when getting out of bed, try to find where their phone is. Then they start scrolling through social networks, watching videos and looking for different content and extras. When this type of addiction manifests itself in adults, children will copy as their parents do, because the young will not do what they hear, do what they see. There is no denying the fact that the importance of studying online in our lives. While it is a commonly held belief that the traditional classrooms are more effective than studying online, there is also an argument that opposes it. In my opinion, I consider that studying online should be improved by the governments to ensure its success.

In current decades, it is thought that tertiary education programs should educate students through practical training instead of offering a wealth of theoretical knowledge.
