Up to high school the student only studies what is given in order to be prepared for university. However, before getting into college the young person will need to make a choice for a lifetime, as this is the moment to choose a major that will define one person’s profession, or in other words, what is going to be done for sustain from that time on. Therefore some people believe that it is important for these students to take a time from school to travel or work along a year and this essay proposes to discuss the advantages and disadvantages taking this year off.

On the one hand , many of the ideas that elderly people have about life are becoming less relevant for younger people . In the past , for example , people were advised to learn a prfssionan fincur , but today ' s workers expect much more variety and diversity from their careers . At the same time , the ' rules ' around relationships are being eroded as young adults make their own choices about who and when to marry . But perhaps the greatest disparity between the generations can be seen in their attitudes towards gender roles . The traditional roles of men and women , as breadwinners and house wives , are no longer accepted as necessary or appropriate by more younger people .

Nowadays, it is observed that despite having famous people in the history of own country, young adults are more interested in foreign musicians and movie stars. In my opinion, the two reasons for this are getting used to foreign cultures and poor quality of musicians in own country, whereas I also believe that this situation may be solved if two steps, such as making national musicians attractive and keeping young people away from other cultures, are taken.
