In contemporary times, governments allocate substantial financial resources to space exploration endeavors, such as those undertaken by the United States of America, Russia, and the United Kingdom. However, despite significant investments, many space programs have faced setbacks that have been widely reported by the media, leading to diminished confidence among the public. This has sparked a debate on whether the enormous funds channeled into space programs would be better utilized in addressing pressing issues on Earth, such as social welfare programs. In my view, I agree that a reevaluation of budget allocations is necessary to prioritize the immediate needs of society.
