In recent years, there has been a profound increase in the number of individuals questioning the amount of money spent on preparing athletes for international competitions. On the one hand, many people believe that this approach is a poor use of valuable tax-payer money and these funds could be diverted to combating poverty instead. However, critics, myself included, are of the strong belief that investing vast sums for athletes to compete at top-level international competitions is justified, due to the psychological effect that winning such honours brings to the nation.

Nowadays due to advancements in science, life span of indiviuals has increased as compared to in past. It is believed by some that older people create problems for the local authorities. On the other hand, few are of the opinion that elderly are beneficial for the community. In my personal view, I agree with the former notion because an ageing population puts burden on the healthcare system and there are lesser higher positions at work available for young people in offices. This essay will discuss in detail the reasons why the advantages of old indiviuals in the society do not outweigh the disadvantages.

Establishing new business should be accompanied by the most commen ways of advertising to ensure the success of this project. In this regard, it is proposed that expanding ways of advertisement for the sake of convincing people to accept your product and feel comfortable to buy and use it, although many disagree and contend that this method is useless and doesn’t convince customers. In my opinion, advertising is the most effective way to make your product well-known and best-seller; however, this essay will explore both aspects of this discussion.

The yield percentage of Avicennia marina extracts at different maceration times and organs is presented in Table 1. From the data obtained, it is evident that the leaves extracts experienced a dramatic increase in yield percentage as the extraction time gets longer while the yield of stem extracts slightly increased over time. In addition, leaves extracts have a higher yield compared to the stems from all three different maceration times. This could be explained by the similarity of the compounds and the used solvent in terms of polarity properties. Leaves as an initial place to produce and accumulate a wide range of compounds before they are transported to other parts of the plant could also affect the high percentage of yield produced in leaves.
