Due to the rise in world commerce, many commodities that are utilized on a day to day basis are manufactured in different nations and have to be shipped to faraway distances. I believe that this has more positive implications than negative as will be discussed in this essay.

Happiness plays a crucial role in the life of every person. Animal experimentation, as a part of drug testing on humans is being done as an obligation with some group of people opposing this notion considering the brutality on animal lives. Though the laboratory tests conducted on these living creatures can have a fruitful outcome in medical science and research, in my opinion, endangering their lives for human benefit would definitely account for cruelty on them.

Lately, most people these days prefer to drive rather than walk even for short distances. The advent and access of motor transport has caused behavioral changes within the population, people choose to avoid physical activity mainly walking for travel. It is mentioned that, T.V. should be allowed as and when children want to watch, at school or at home, because it is a more effective way of learning. However, while I agree that, T.V is more visual and can be created as a more entertaining way for learning, I disagree that, children should be allowed to do so regularly.

The debate on gender-based college admissions has been a trending topic lately, along with the inclusion of Gender Equality Bill as this year's legislative priority list. In the aforementioned bill, it is proposed that colleges must admit the same proportion of men and women. Generally, I am of view that such proposal is admissible as it would accelerate the gender equality efforts, but some reservations would need to be made to prevent possible imbalances in the future.
