The government spend about 220 million (poundsterling) a year supporting museums and galleries in the UK, and a similar amount subsiding the visual and perfoming arts. This is a huge sum to spend on minority interest, and the money would be better spent on more important things. It should be up to the people who enjoy cultural attractions to pay for them. What are your views?

The investment of developing the art and cultural industry is one of the most prevalent policy for the British government. However, there are some criticisms that the government expenditure should be highly allocated to improve the living standard of the minority groups in the society. This essay argued that providing additional resources to support the cultural and artistic life of the country is totally essential as that industry can effectively boost the income of tourism, and therefore the government should actively bear the responsibility to administrate the museums and galleries.

The internet has become profoundly efficient and popular that people choose it as a platform to learn. Some believe that it would eventually replace the need for books. Do you agree or disagree?

In modern times, there are a lot of opportunities to study online. The Internet websites suggest a variety of study materials that are very easy and convenient to use. It is argued that people might use the internet instead of books. This essay disagrees with the statement for two reasons. Firstly, the quality of information in the Internet is not always good enought and often needs to be checked before use. Secondly, there are a lot of peolple who still prefer to buy books in a bookstore.

In some ways, men are better and in some ways women are better. For example, in construction and manual labor / physical labor, men are better. In contrast, women are better in memorizing and effective communication. Therefore, EVEN THOUGH men and women are not equal, they are each better at certain things.
